On Tuesday, August 8, 2017;
Hoshang Mohamed, the Director General of the Joint Crisis Coordination Centre (JCC) received Mr. Hawre Ehsan, Head of Erbil Branch of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) and his a companying delegation at the JCC headquarter in Erbil.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the current challenges of humanitarian crisis and ways to improve the coordination and cooperation between the JCC and Erbil Branch of the IRCS for better utilization of the humanitarian assistance delivered to the IDPs in the Kurdistan Region.
Both sides talked about the importance of developing and continued coordination to provide more services and humanitarian assistance for the IDPs.
During the meeting, Hoshang Mohamed, on behalf H.E. Minister of Interior and the JCC presented an appreciation letter to Mr. Hawre for their outstanding work in dealing with the humanitarian crisis and the coordination and cooperation of IRC’s Erbil Branch in helping the IDPs, refugees and the host communities in the Kurdistan Region.
Mr. Hawre extended his thanks and appreciation for the JCC and the Ministry of Interior for the continued facilitation and support provided to the Erbil Branch of the IRCS and reiterated that they will continue supporting and providing assistance to the IDPs and refugees in the Kurdistan Region.
