The Kurdistan Region continues to host the largest number of IDPs and refugees. There are still (928,553) IDPs and Refugees in Kurdistan; (668,412 IDPs) and (240,102) Syrian, (8,600) Turkish, (10,623) Iranian, and (732) Palestinian refugees, (84) Others. The majority of IDPs and refugees live with the host communities in the Region, while only (27%) living in the (36) camps, and (73%) live in outside camps. 41% of the total displaced population live in Erbil, 41% in Duhok, and 18% in Sulaymaniyah.
