On occasion of the end of 2016 and welcoming New Year of 2017, the Joint Crisis Coordination Centre, under the supervision of the JCC Director General, held a meeting with the JCC directors and staff. In the meeting, the Director General awarded the JCC staff with appreciation letters and thanked them for their dedication, hardworking and excellent performance in executing their responsibilities successfully despite the financial crisis and the challenges.
Additionally, the meeting reviewed and evaluated JCC’s plan for 2016 and the implementation level and the challenges faced. The meeting also shed light on the JCC’s long-term plan for 2017-2020 to strengthen Crisis Response Network and the establishment of Crisis and Disaster Management System in the Kurdistan Region. The meeting also highlighted the development of an action plan to implement the plan.
